Refund Policy

Refund Policy – Cascade EcoPrint LLC

Effective Date: July 18, 2025

At Cascade EcoPrint LLC, we produce high-quality, eco-conscious 3D printed goods — both custom and standard. Because most of our products are made to order, we’ve outlined a clear refund and return policy to ensure transparency and fairness for all customers.

1. Custom Orders (Non-Refundable After Production Lock)

Custom orders are made to your exact specifications using customer-provided files, in-house design, or third-party freelancers. These are handled with care and precision, but due to their personalized nature:

  • Custom orders are non-refundable once production begins.
  • Customers may cancel or request changes within 72 hours of order confirmation.
  • After the 72-hour window, orders are locked for production and can no longer be canceled or altered.
  • Design-related cancellations during the 72-hour window may incur partial charges for work already completed.

Cascade EcoPrint LLC is not liable for issues caused by:

  • Inaccurate or incomplete design files or specifications submitted by the customer
  • Fitment problems due to omitted technical details or dimensions
  • Licensing conflicts involving customer-supplied files (see our Custom Order Policy)

If a manufacturing error or shipping damage occurs, we will offer a replacement or partial refund at our discretion.

2. Standard (Inventory) Products

Non-custom, inventory items may be returned under the following conditions:

  • Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery
     (The return clock is based on the date of your initial email to us)
  • Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping, unless the item is defective or incorrect

Once a returned item is inspected and approved, a refund will be issued within 14–20 business days to the original payment method.

3. Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged or is defective:

  • Contact us at orders@cascadeecoprint.com within 7 days of delivery
  • Include:
    • Your order number
    • Description of the issue
    • Photos of the item and packaging

If eligible, we will offer a replacement or full refund, including original shipping when appropriate.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Custom 3D printed items (after production lock)
  • Digital products (e.g. STL, 3MF files)
  • Gift cards
  • Items marked “final sale” or “clearance”

5. How to Initiate a Return or Refund

To request a refund, replacement, or return:

  1. Email orders@cascadeecoprint.com
  2. Include:
    • Your order number
    • Issue description
    • Photos if applicable

We will respond to your request within 5–7 business days.
Return and refund timeframes are based on the date we receive your initial email.

Sustainability Note

We’re committed to minimizing waste and environmental impact. Please review your order carefully and provide accurate information for custom requests. Items returned in unusable condition will be responsibly recycled whenever possible.

At Cascade EcoPrint LLC, we specialize in eco-conscious, precision 3D printing — including custom, one-off, and prototype work. The following policy outlines how we handle custom orders to ensure a clear, responsible, and mutually respectful process.

1. Customer-Provided Design Files

If you supply your own 3D model(s) for production:

  • You must own the rights to the files or have a valid license for their use in commercial manufacturing.
  • By submitting any files, you confirm that they do not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Cascade EcoPrint LLC reserves the right to refuse any file or order that poses legal, ethical, or technical concerns, including suspected IP violations, inappropriate content, or impractical designs.

2. Design Services

For customers requesting a design based on a concept, sketch, or idea:

  • Cascade EcoPrint LLC may complete the design in-house or collaborate with a freelance designer depending on workload and complexity.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any custom design request that:
  • Falls outside our expertise or capacity
  • Requires unreasonable or unsafe specifications
  • Violates ethical or legal standards
  • All required pre-work must be submitted before we begin design or hire a freelancer. This includes:
  • Clear design intent and goals
  • Critical dimensions, tolerances, or functional requirements
  • Sketches, schematics, or example references
  • Any specific material or environmental considerations
  • We cannot begin design or engage a freelancer until all pre-work has been received. Delays in submission may extend project timelines.
  • Estimated timeframes:
  • In-house design: typically completed within 5–10 business days
  • Freelance-assisted design: add 3–5 business days to locate, hire, and receive files
  • Total custom design timeline: usually 7–15 business days, but may vary depending on complexity and communication
  • Unless otherwise negotiated and paid for, all designs created during this process are the intellectual property of Cascade EcoPrint LLC.
  • Cascade EcoPrint LLC may reuse, adapt, or resell any design elements unless exclusive rights are granted in writing.

3. Cancellation & Alteration Window

Custom orders may be canceled or altered within 72 hours of order confirmation.

After the 72-hour window, the order is locked for production and is no longer eligible for cancellation, revision, or refund.

Cancellations within the window may still incur a design fee if work has already begun.

4. Dimensional Accuracy & Customer Responsibility

For any custom part requiring precision or fit:

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete specifications, including technical drawings or schematics when applicable.
  • Cascade EcoPrint LLC is not liable for issues resulting from:
  • Missing or vague measurements
  • Design omissions
  • Environmental or fitment conditions not disclosed before production
  • Customers are expected to review final proofs (when applicable) and confirm accuracy before production begins.

5. Proofing & Final Approval

Cascade EcoPrint LLC may provide digital proofs or renders for final review.

Customers must review and approve all designs before production begins.

Once approval is received, no changes can be made without incurring additional costs and delays.

Intellectual Property (IP) Policy

Intellectual Property (IP) Policy – Cascade EcoPrint LLC

Cascade EcoPrint LLC is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and protecting the integrity of our own designs and creative work. This policy explains how intellectual property is handled across all services, including custom design, manufacturing, and digital file submissions.

1. Customer-Supplied Files & Designs

Customers who provide 3D models, schematics, or other digital files for production must ensure the following:

  • You own the rights to the file(s), or you have a valid license or permission to use and reproduce them.
  • You accept full responsibility for ensuring that submitted files do not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, or trademarks.
  • By submitting a file, you grant Cascade EcoPrint LLC a limited, non-exclusive right to use, modify (if necessary), and reproduce the design solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

Cascade EcoPrint LLC reserves the right to refuse any project suspected of infringing upon third-party rights.

2. Custom Designs by Cascade EcoPrint LLC

When Cascade EcoPrint LLC creates a design on behalf of a customer (whether in-house or through freelance contractors):

  • The intellectual property rights to the final design remain the sole property of Cascade EcoPrint LLC unless otherwise negotiated and purchased.
  • Customers purchasing custom designs receive the right to use the physical item and a limited license to use the design for personal use (e.g., for replacement parts or private use), unless commercial use is explicitly granted in writing.
  • Customers may not reproduce, modify, resell, or distribute the design without a separate agreement.
  • Cascade EcoPrint LLC retains the right to:
    • Reuse, adapt, or resell portions of the design
    • Showcase the design in its portfolio or marketing materials
    • License the design to others unless full rights are purchased

3. Purchasing Full Design Rights

Customers who wish to obtain full ownership of a custom design must:

  • Notify us before production begins
  • Pay a design buyout fee as part of the order (quote available upon request)
  • Receive a written agreement transferring all IP rights to the customer, including commercial use, resale, and modification rights

Without this agreement, all designs remain the property of Cascade EcoPrint LLC.

4. Digital File Sales & Licensing

If Cascade EcoPrint LLC sells or provides digital files (e.g., STL, 3MF):

  • Files are licensed for non-commercial, personal use unless otherwise stated.
  • You may not resell, share, or redistribute these files online or offline.
  • Commercial-use licenses may be granted for additional fees and must be documented via written agreement.

5. Infringement Claims

If you believe that Cascade EcoPrint LLC has used a design that infringes on your intellectual property:

  • Please contact us at orders@cascadeecoprint.com
  • Include your name, your claim to the design, supporting documentation, and a clear description of the issue

We take infringement claims seriously and will investigate and respond within 20 business days.

6. Enforcement & Violations

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Order cancellation or refusal of future services
  • Revocation of licenses
  • Legal action for misuse of Cascade EcoPrint LLC’s intellectual property

Content & Order Acceptance Policy

Cascade EcoPrint LLC is committed to producing sustainable, high-quality 3D printed goods while upholding legal, ethical, and safety standards. To ensure responsible production, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that does not comply with the following guidelines.

1. Prohibited Content

We will not produce designs or files that include:

  • Hate-related material, including content promoting violence, harassment, or discrimination against individuals or groups, to the extent permitted under the First Amendment.
  • Content that is obscene, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.

2. Intellectual Property Compliance

We respect intellectual property rights and require our customers to do the same. Cascade EcoPrint LLC will not accept:

  • Obviously copyrighted or trademarked material without documented permission or a valid license.
  • Designs suspected of infringing on patents, copyrights, or other protected works.

If we believe a submitted file violates intellectual property law, we reserve the right to report the matter to the appropriate rights holder.

3. Weapons Restriction

Cascade EcoPrint LLC will not produce:

  • Any design that could reasonably be used to create a functioning weapon
  • Any design intended to replicate an actual weapon

This restriction does not apply to items such as sharpening stone holders, angle guides, or other non-weapon utility tools.

We recognize and support the cosplay community, and we are willing to work with customers on case-by-case projects. If you are unsure whether your design request falls within this policy, please contact us at orders@cascadeecoprint.com before placing an order.

4. Scope & Complexity

Cascade EcoPrint LLC reserves the right to decline orders that:

  • Exceed our technical capabilities or equipment limitations
  • Present unreasonable production requirements (time, materials, or labor)
  • Involve excessive complexity without clear specifications or schematics

5. Enforcement

  • If an order is refused, the customer will be notified via email with a brief explanation.
  • Refunds for declined orders will be issued in accordance with our Refund Policy.
  • Repeat violations may result in denial of future service.

Shipping & Return Policy

Shipping Policy – Cascade EcoPrint LLC

Effective Date: August 27, 2025

Cascade EcoPrint LLC is committed to delivering your products quickly, affordably, and with care. The following policy explains how we handle shipping, delivery, and returns.

1. Shipping Regions

At this time, we only ship within the United States.
This limitation is due to international tariffs and shipping costs that often make small, affordable products (e.g., a $15 print) unreasonably expensive to ship overseas.

We believe this restriction ensures our customers receive a fair deal.
(Note: This policy is subject to change in the future as shipping options improve.)

2. Carriers Used

We currently ship orders through:

  • USPS (United States Postal Service)
  • UPS (United Parcel Service)

Shipping carrier selection may vary based on order size, weight, and destination. Tracking information will be provided once an order is shipped.

3. Processing & Delivery Times

  • Processing time of 3–5 business days applies only to in-stock items.
  • Items requiring production will be subject to a lead time. Customers will receive an estimated lead time via email within 5–7 business days after payment is processed and/or a deposit is received.
  • Delivery times depend on carrier availability and service selection. Cascade EcoPrint LLC cannot guarantee carrier delivery timelines once an order has shipped.

4. Return Shipping

  • Cascade EcoPrint LLC will cover the cost of return shipping labels for eligible returns.
  • Customers are responsible for providing a suitable box or packaging for the return.
  • We strongly recommend customers retain their original shipping box until they are certain they wish to keep the product, as it is the easiest and most secure option for returns.

5. Damaged or Lost Packages

  • If a package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at orders@cascadeecoprint.com with your order number and photos if applicable.
  • We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and provide either a replacement or refund according to our Refund Policy.

  • Right to access/know the personal data we hold
  • Right to request deletion or correction

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cascade EcoPrint LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or products.
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the order in question.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cascade EcoPrint LLC, its employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our services, submission of infringing files, or violation of these Terms.

10. Privacy
